John Kroeger | Market Advisor has had a distinguished career in advising Government Departments in Australia and Asia. Latterly John has been involved in event management and tourism. John co-founded leading consultancies IER and Premier Consulting Group. He is a specialist in strategic planning, with over 20 years experience advising Governments, Industry groups, entertainment and sporting bodies, and cities in Australia and Asia on marketing strategy, business development and events. John's strategic planning and business development consulting expertise is backed by leadership experience in the publishing, travel, airlines, catering and venue facilities industries. Prior to founding IER, John worked for Rupert Murdoch for 13 years and was a Director of Mirror Newspapers Ltd in Sydney and Chairman of Nationwide Air Services Pty Ltd and Travel Centre Pty Ltd. John is a Commonwealth Relations Fellow of Queen Elizabeth House, Oxford University, England. John is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and he is currently Chair of Alpine Region Tourism.
Ian Spangler | Market Advisor continues to develop his career of 30 years across the public/private sector spectrum building on experience within and for high profile public and private sector organisations. He offers specialist consulting skills in business and strategic planning, business development and marketing, asset and project management. Corporate governance roles have included Company Secretary, Trust Secretary, and Board Membership and associated Committee Chair roles. Senior executive positions held include Chief Executive Officer-Melbourne Park, Deputy Director-General-Victorian Department of Sport & Recreation and Director of Development Division-Victorian Department of the Premier & Cabinet. Ian established his own consultancy business in 1997, with repeat clients including Victorian Treasury, Major Projects and Department of Infrastructure, IER, Melbourne Showgrounds, PanStadia, Packer Group, Baulderstone, GHD and Macquarie Bank. Ian has tertiary qualifications in urban planning (both graduate and post graduate), management (post graduate) and a Master of Business - Marketing from Monash University.
Ilmars Draudins | Corporate Advisor has a career spanning over 25 years in the service and information technology sectors plus another 15 years of investment banking experience, he has used his expertise as a base to assist many high growth companies to develop the appropriate strategies and raise the necessary capital to further growth and develop a successful organisation. Ilmars is a director of Collins Street Group Pty Ltd which provides a range of broking and corporate advisory services to small to mid cap companies. Ilmars was a founding director of Nextec Corporation, a very successful investment banking organisation which completed over 40 major assignments and IPO's. Ilmars has had a great deal of experience in general management, senior project management and marketing. Ilmars career covers many industries including engineering, electronics, computer education, telecommunications and networking, information technology, corporate advisory and investment banking. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (University of NSW), an MBA (Monash University) and a Certificate in Direct Marketing (ADMA).
